FAQs

1. What is the Stress to Success™ System?
It’s a neuroscience-based framework that helps leaders and professionals rewire how they respond to stress. Instead of managing or suppressing pressure, the system teaches you how to channel it into clarity, resilience, and high performance.

2. How is this different from traditional stress management?
Traditional stress management focuses on reducing stress. The Stress to Success™ System focuses on transforming it. It helps you understand your natural stress responses and develop adaptive habits that keep you clear and effective, even in challenging environments.

3. Who created the system?
The Stress to Success™ System was developed by Ashwin Rajah, leadership coach and founder of Mindset Matters. His work draws from neuroscience, behavioural psychology, and personal experience following his recovery from brain tumour surgery — an experience that fundamentally reshaped his understanding of stress and resilience.

4. Who is this program designed for?
It’s designed for professionals, managers, and leaders who want to strengthen their clarity, composure, and performance under pressure. Whether you lead a team or manage complex projects, this system will help you operate with greater balance and confidence.

Workshops and Coaching

5. How does the Stress to Success™ Workshop work?
The workshop runs over six live 90-minute sessions, delivered via Zoom. Each session combines science-based insights, group discussion, and practical application. You’ll learn a step-by-step method to recognise, regulate, and sustain performance under stress.

6. What are the workshop times?
Workshops are held on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 13:00–14:30 SAST (GMT+2). Recordings are available for participants who can’t attend live.

7. Is this a group or one-on-one format?
The workshop is a small-group experience to encourage reflection, discussion, and peer learning. For deeper personal support, you can book individual coaching sessions with Ashwin.

8. What if I can’t attend all the live sessions?
You’ll have access to recordings of each session and support materials, so you can catch up at your own pace. The Playbook also helps you continue practicing between sessions.

9. How is this different from executive coaching?
The Stress to Success™ Workshop provides a structured group learning format, while executive coaching offers one-on-one guidance tailored to your specific goals. Many participants start with the workshop and later continue with personal coaching to deepen their growth.

10. Is this workshop suitable for teams?
Yes. The system has been used within organisations to strengthen leadership teams, improve communication, and enhance resilience across departments. If you’d like to bring the program into your company, you can request a corporate facilitation option.

The Survey and Assessment

11. What is the Stress Pattern Survey?
It’s a short, research-based questionnaire that identifies your natural response to stress — whether you’re Action-Oriented, Emotion-Focused, or Thinking-Based. It’s designed to build awareness, not judgement, helping you understand how you perform under pressure.

12. How long does the survey take?
It takes around 5–7 minutes to complete.

13. Will I receive my results immediately?
Yes. After completing the survey, you’ll see your primary and secondary stress patterns, along with insights on how to use them more effectively. You’ll also receive a personalised email with your full results and practical recommendations.

14. Is my information private?
Absolutely. Your results and email address are kept confidential and are never shared with third parties. For details, please read our Privacy Policy.

Yes. The framework integrates findings from neuroscience, resilience research, and performance psychology, combined with Ashwin’s experience coaching professionals in high-pressure roles.
